Janie Meier

Jane Meier Hamilton MSN, RN, a nurse for 35 years and family caregiver for 20 years, has practiced clinically, taught psychiatric nursing, published numerous professional journal articles and co-authored Survival Skills for the New Nurse (JB Lippincott, 1986).

Jane established Hamilton Consulting in 1979 to address the needs of health care professionals, later expanding her practice to include caring for family caregivers. She has consulted with more than 150 organizations and presented over 2,500 workshops and keynote addresses nationwide. In 2008, she founded Partners on the Path to help professional and family caregivers preserve their health, well-being and capacity to care. Two years later, she published her original, research-based, stress-coping model for self-care in The Caregiver's Guide to Self-Care: Help for Your Caregiving Journey (Infinity 2010)


Robert D. Hamilton, III

Robert D. Hamilton, III, PhD, brings extensive academic research, education, management and consultation expertise to his role as co-founder of Partners on the Path. Dr. Hamilton has been a member of the faculty in the General and Strategic Management Department at the Temple University Fox School of Business since 1981. He has published more than 25 articles in refereed journals, has won five awards for outstanding teaching, and presented over 150 academic and management development programs to national and international audiences in more than 40 different cities over the past 35 years.
